Born in Moscow. In 2004, on completing her training at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, where she studied in rector Marina Leonova's classs, she joined the Bolshoi Ballet. Her coach at the theatre is Marina Kondrateva.

She won Grand Prix at Prix de Luxembourg International Ballet Competition (2003) and the 3rd prize at the International Ballet Competition in Moscow (2005).
In 2007, she was awarded Soul of Dance Prize in the category “Rising Star” from Ballet Magazine.
In 2008, she received National Dance Awards Critics' Circle (after the Bolshoi Theatre tour in London) in the category “Best Female Dancer” became a recipient of The Golden Mask Award for her performance in the ballet In the Upper Room.
